Keighley West Labour Branch meets monthly, usually the first Wednesday of the month.
Our branch members are the backbone to our campaigning and also act as critical friends to elected members.
As we approach election time the branch doesn’t meet, but we have a month long calendar of campaigning. This is always a great way to come together with a joint purpose to retain or win a seat for Labour, we also leap into action when a General Election is called.
The branch is a key part to selecting candidates to represent the ward. Elected councillors are expected to report to the branch members each month and relay any information of interest nationally and locally.
