Keighley Leisure Centre is now on track to save £25,000 a year on energy bills 💴 🌱
Thanks to funding accessed by Bradford Council through Swim England, the centre has had:
🔋 A solar panel array installed
🚶♂️ A secure roof walkway fitted
📺 A display screen added to display solar performance in real time
⚡️This smart investment means the leisure centre is now more energy-efficient and environmentally friendly – the savings can be used to support vital services and strengthen our communities ❤️🏊♀️
Cllr Sarah Ferriby Portfolio Holder for Healthy People and Places says:
“This investment is saving the council money as well as making Keighley Leisure Centre more energy and environmentally effective, adding to our greener, cleaner credentials.”
