The Ilkley branch is normally very active with a number of regular events:
- a monthly branch meeting on the 2nd Thursday of the month – we sometimes have guest speakers at our meetings.
- a women’s coffee morning on the 1st Saturday of the month.
- occasional street stalls where we engage with the wider community.
As well as these regular events we also have socials and other get togethers.
We campaign in response to local and national issues and try to support our local community for example our recent efforts in helping people to check their eligibility for pension credits. We aim to keep in touch with residents through doorstep conversations and of course, as elections approach we deliver leaflets.
